Both outer disc surfaces have been laser engraved with a Damascus steel pattern, providing one of the most amazing appearances you can imagine. During the engraving process, the laser speed is set to achieve a specific temperature in order to simulate a heat based anodizing process, resulting in a distinct set of 4 different colors to choose from: Royal Blue, Dark Purple, White Frost, and Black. Due to engraving times that vary between several minutes to over 20 minutes, each color is priced accordingly. This laser-based heat anodizing process is permanent, the color will not change over time. The engraved surfaces are very easy to clean with a simple wipe with any detergent based cleaner. Ti-Tape EXCLUSIVE EDITION Titanium Tape Measures Exclusive Edition models are also identical to the standard Ti-Tape except for the finish.
